The KEF difference
The diminutive transmitter and receiver units are designed for function without drawing attention to themselves. The transmitter can be powered by USB, while the receiver is powered directly by the KEF subwoofer expansion port. In many cases, additional power sockets are not required.
Unlike similar devices, KW1 operates in the high bandwidth 5GHz band, delivering high-resolution audio up to 24bit/48kHz. Pairing is intuitive, while a range of up to 30m (line of sight) makes subwoofer placement easy. An advanced channel selection algorithm, vanishingly low latency and data encryption ensure that day-to-day use is not only hassle-free but secure. The receiver is also available separately, allowing two KEF subwoofers to receive the same signal wirelessly from the same transmitter.
Expand your System Further
The KW1 RX receiver is also available separately, allowing a single transmitter to deliver high-quality audio to a second KEF subwoofer wirelessly. By adding a second subwoofer, bass performance becomes more consistent throughout the room, improving the experience for every member of the audience.
