Finally a true Heat Recovery Ventilation System , Lunos is a Decentralized Heat Recovery System - By using Hi Spec German technology bringing healthy fresh air into NZ homes by using the heat from expelled air to then heat the fresh incoming air, when designed correctly the head recovery efficiency is around 90% A Lunos system uses a combination of components engineered to suit your home. We use e2 fans in pairs which cycle together, one brings in fresh air while heating it from it's last expel cycle and the other expels air, heating its ceramic heat storage block as the air flows through, ready for it's next intake cycle. This pattern repeats continuously. Being decentralized means that there is no ducting system, so of course we don't lose any heat through ducting because there is none! For bathrooms, and other areas that need faster air replacement due to odors or moisture we would use the e2's big brother the eGo or Nexxt. We can use humidity sensors to trigger the fans.
