A new chapter. True to the music.
The DMP-A8 Gen 2 splits digital processing and conversion between a dedicated AK4191EQ processor and an AK4499EXEQ DAC, so each stage of the signal path can be optimised. The result is more preserved detail, a quieter background and greater separation, with natural vocals and imaging.
Isolated digital and analogue power, a 20μV linear supply and dual low-phase-noise clocks give the circuits a clean, stable foundation for focused detail and an open soundstage.
